ok here goes. i bought a blaster off a good friend he says he has had it running since he put the big bore kit and reed spacer on it. but he had to push start it. he says his friend coulld kick start it. well i candt get it to start. it has compression spark and fuel. but im not sure about a few things. does the carb need to be jetted due to the bbk and reed spacer? also he replaced the kick start mechinism and the thing only turns the engine with half of its travel is it possible that he installed the kick start wrong? im an auto mechanic but four wheelers and two strokes are new to me.

If you have a blaster with a 240 kit on it, no you don't have to have a bigger carb. on it. However it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. After all, it's starving a bigger engine from the fuel it needs.
For the kickstarter mech, if it doesn't go down all the way, I'd open it up and check it out.
If the bike does start when you push it but not by the kick starter, chances are there's something going on with it.
open it up and check it.

um.... it definately has to be rejetted. i am not too sure about size for a big bore kit, but i have a stock bore with the mods in my signature and i am running a 340... so i am guessing urs is gonna be pretty big....

probably gonna just want to go with a bigger carb tho... like 34mm.

as for the kick starter, i am not too good with those, there may be some play in it somewhere that isn't letting u get the full effect of the kick. i would push it down gently till you can feel the piston compressing, then let the kick starter come back up to the top, then kick'er will all you got. or just park on a hill all the time lol
