I've been doing some looking around for carbs for a while, some of you may know that I recently picked up a Keihin PE and decided to not use it. I have 2 stock carbs that came with my motor, haven't checked to see if their jetted.

My question is what bikes came with a good carb I could use?
Ebay search isn't giving me much of a selection under $150. A few sites that I have found have carbs up to 38mm for $200. I saw in the FS section a KDX200 PJ for $120 so will any KDX carb work? I know Shee and TRX250r's will fit also but what should I be looking for to ensure this will work? Do the require a new cable/thumb throttle? Trying to get this together cheap as I can.

Keihin PWK series
Keihin PJ series work

GENERALLY with big bore, people go with a 33PWK, 35PWK, 35PWK Air Stryker, or 34PJ. All will work fine, but the 35PWK or 35PWK Air Stryker model is typically the most sought after carb for BBK.......depends on your riding style though. 33PWK will give more bottom end but they are a pain to find cheap(I know). 34PJs are the ones you will find for the least price, but some people have idle adjustment issues with them(not all).

Some people can go even larger up to 38PWK Air Strykers, but that's dependent on their preference and setup.

As a side note, if you are interested in the 35PWK I'm selling let me know. I:I

I also have a bored banshee carb that is 28.5 mm. $75 to your door and it comes with a K&N Pod filter and brand new outerwear.

perfect since your jets you have now or the dealership stock all fit. the carb body is exactly the same as you have now so it bolts right on without modification. The TORS has been removed and idle screw installed.
