Hi guys Ive been reading your forums for a few weeks now and its been a lot of help!! Im currently building a Blaster for my wife and just received Barnett clutch plates. My question is Ive watched youtube videos of a clutch installation and one video has a smaller steel ring and a smaller friction in the video and in my kit all the steel rings and friction rings are the same size. Do I use a existing small ring that is in the old stack? The ones Ive got are all in separate bags with no instructions. Its been a while since Ive done clutch plates and have never done a Blaster's before. Also I have a jetting question..I just bought a toomey B1 kit that come with a uni filter, air box vents,v force 3 reeds. Ive port matched my intake to sleeve, done transfers, and polished exh. until I can see myself in it. My elevation is 300 ft (crooms Brooksville FL)..will the 310 be enough or too much for everything I listed plus elevation. Thanks for any help...I do appreciate it I:I

you have the disks and not the plates...? the metal ring is left out. the jetting will be a good start however you will need to learn the plug chop method whitch you can find in the sticky at the top of this section to get the jetting perfect as they are different for each machine... hope this helps

ok first, your name, are you saying you have a 240sx with a rb26dett n1 motor? if so, pictures please.
second, what surf said is correct. the 310 would be a good start for jetting. every engine is different and where people ride is different.

Very nice, steel ring is left out. I think you should buy a Keihin Pwk28 carb for your blaster. My motor was very very low on mods, so i never bought one, but since you port matched, you may wish to buy a different carb. Also make sure that you are running premix, as in a oil injection block off kit...When you install any filter, it must be oiled, especially on 2 strokes...

My Name is Jay..and yes and no. I had a fully built rb26 but it wasnt the N1...I actually sold it and bought a garage full of toys 09 cr500af (mine),Blaster (wifes) pro circuit built cr85 (12 yr olds),crf50 (5 yr olds),and outlaw 90 (9 yr old daughters). Heres a picture of my car..heres a link to it on the dyno.

Sorry lol..and Thanks for the compliments...the only thing that was better on a n1 was the blocks webbing. I only raced it twice and won both times..first race was a old man that kept revving his ZR1 and I left him so bad I almost couldnt see him...and then a Porshe 911 GT3 that had graphics all over it..I won but just by a half of a car...it definitely wasnt stock. I made 556whp on 93..and if I would of used ETOH,c16,or q16 I could of made 700whp easily..Thanks guys for all of the help...Im going to get my oil soaked friction plates and get to installing. Thanks again I:I
