well it depends on what he means by needs axle. it is bent? are the splines bad?
if it is bent, then it is most likely just needing an axle.
if splines are bad, it might need axle and/or one to all four hubs.
it might just need new carrier bearings.
and that is 1275 euros correct?

just an axle & new bearings are no big deal, its when the bearings tear up the carrier it HURTS - at least my experience.
I wouldnt buy a banshee unless it was dirt cheap & only to trade / resell.
