Hey guys , I am new to this fourm and I have done some research on here about this problem. So hear is the story .

Bought the 2006 Blaster 200cc 4 wheeler from a buddy , the piston needed replaced . ( been sitting for 6 months torn apart )

So i bought the stock 66mm piston , new gasket kit and oil block off . Me and another friend put it together ( he knows more about building them ) . So we got everything on the bike and mixed the gas and all . Went to kick start it and it wont start . We can get it to for a split second ( acting like it wants to turn over ) . After 3 hours of trying to kick start it and it backfiring . lol this is what I have done .

1. New Spark Plug ( good spark )
2. Compression is great ( you can tell from kicking it )
3. Cleaned the carb
4. Stock Jets are in Main jet is 250
5. Cleaned the reeder ( not torn )
6. When pistion was put in we honned the walls so that the rings would set.
7. Oil level is good
8. 93 octane
9. Grounds are good .
10. Air to fuel ratio turned 1 and 1/2 turn

So I dont know what else it could be. I am stumped and so are some of my friends .

I read about the fly wheel key but I dont know how or why that could be a problem .

If someone has some answer you can txt me 240 538 8875 or post on here . This would help because I am tired of trying to run all these random things and nothing ..

were there any gaps in the reeds? or were the sealed all the way around?

pull the flywheel and check to see if the key sheared

you could have a airleak on it? ive got the same problem with my 1988 kx250 engine i dont know what the problem is so im stripping it down and replacing all the gaskets crank seals etc

Could it be that your CDI unit is malfunctioning causing the plug to spark at the wrong time? I have heard CDI's don't fail too often though...
