Axles???

Ok now I saw the other post about the whole banshee axle thing. Well u guys said u gotta have an 03+ carrier well I got an 04 swinger on my 88 of of my 04 parts bike and I couldn't get the the hydraulic brake to fit on the frame so I switched the 88 carrier out with the 04 carrier so I cud keep my original brake so what do I do if I wanna get a banshee axle???

I got the hydro brake of the 04 parts bike but I can't mount it on the frame and with 04 carrier I can't mount the 88 brake on it

the stock pre 03 brake will work with the 03+carrier. so just use the newer carrier with the banshee axle and your same brake setup you are running now

i can make you a bolt on mount for the master cylinder/rezzie, but you will have to have/use
pre 03 pegs/brake pedal ???

sh*t i'm sorry. you need the banshee brake hub or the brake hub from the 04 parts bike. not the carrier. use the older model carrier and you just need the 04 brake hub on the banshee axle

the only way to do that is swap frames or have a bracket welded to your frame for the 04 stuff. the simple solution for you is the pre 03 brake with the disc brake hub from the 04. otherwise you will have to swap frames or modify your current frame

I wudve swapped frames but the 04 frame was bent to where everything in the front was 1/2 off so I stuck the 88
