Hey guys, I live in florida and wanted to take my blaster to the ocala national forest to ride the trails. The deal is though you have to have a title or something to ride on public land. I have 2 blasters and a polaris trailblazer and they all are parts from multiple atvs. I don't even have a bills of sales because when I got the stuff it was basically garbage. You know the deal 75$ for a blaster frame here 100$ for a blown up engine there some aftermarket goodys and vwala you have a blaster. So does anyone know anything about this. Thanks

You will get a Bonded title which is the same as a a non-Bonded title but it just means the origial title was lost. It remains that way for 2 years. At least that is how it is with cars.

Here is another option:
It depends on what state you're in. Hopefully you received a Bill of Sale when you purchased the ATV. The easiest is if you know who the previous owner is. Have them file for a replacement title and then fill it in properly and have them sign it over to you.

If you don't know the owner then you could turn in a "mechanic's lien" where you file paperwork at the DMV saying you have the vehicle and are "claiming" it for work done or storage fees. They jump-through-the-hoops and send notification to the previous owner's listed address. If the claim isn't challenged they transfer the paperwork into your name (for a fee) and you receive your own title once all the hoop jumping is over.
