well i am going to get a new carrier, wether it be a used stock one, or a billet dual row one.

i searched and didnt really come up with anything on billet ones......

i cant see it being a smart decision on paying $75 to $100 for a used stock carrier when i can buy a brand new billet carrier for $125 to $150 and get new bearings and seals with the unit.....

just looking for some feedback thanks

i'm more than positive someone on here doing a part-out will hook you up with a good used carrier for around half of what you have listed above,
and i have a twin row billet rad carrier, but it's waiting on a new extended swinger and g-force axle this winter, so cant report on it, except it sure looks nice and shiny hangin in the garage

ps. matter of fact, if someone else doesnt hook you up first, and you wanna wait a week or 2, i'll be tearin my bike down, and will sell you my carrier, with 1 year old bearings in it, and grease zerk installed, always full of good red waterproof grease, $50 shipped to you

Pro's to buying dual row carrier:
Higher radial load capacity, haha, had to add that... Longer life!!!
Easier to clean
Doesn't rust
Tighter fit
Weight loss of 1lb 2oz w/ my magnum dual row 03-06 carrier compared to a OEM 03-06 carrier...
Comes stock w/ a grease fitting(Zirk)

Cons:
More expensive bearings
Softer metal(gets gouges from time to time, these can be polished out my sanding or greaseless compounds)
Sometimes you can have alittle play like .01-.02 on the bottom chain adjusters. Depends on company
Not many more...

If you can wait get AWK's or buy a used one like he said.

BTW do you have a carrier? Are the bearings shot or something? Or is it something more serious like worn bearing races?

I would replace the bearings for you (turnaround would be about 1.5wks)
Got all the special tools, been installing bearings for everybody at the track it seems.

AWK will do you right. Get his carrier, it'll be worth the wait and savings.

well, damn thing cant get it apart..... torched it, and still cant get nothing off of it.

it is bent too i m pretty sure. yeah i didnt really want to get a dual row, cause i do alot of rock running where i go, but i cant see paying $75 plus for one off of ebay.

awk you have a pm lol
