Like the title says I need a new piston for my Vito's BBK. I'm sure mine will clean at .25mm but I think the first over piston is .50. If anyone has one in stock or knows where I can find one please let me know. Vito's site says they are out of stock. Thanks.

You will need a Wosner piston. I donr believe Vitos makes a .25 over they go right to a .50. I am needing the same Piston myself.

Here you go man. http://www.kenoconnorracing.com/OEM Blaster Parts.html

I don't know who will be doing your boring and honing but the link I posted above ^^ is a great experienced shop and will handle whatever you need done and also have the parts you need. Great pricing as well.

I contacted Wosner and I'm waiting for a response. I wasn't sure if their piston would work in a Vitos jug? Also I've contacted Ken before but he declined working on my motor because it's not mounted in a quad. This is my second build as I was screwed by Vitos on the cranks they sold me. This build I am using a DT200 bottom end and the used Vitos BBK kit I bought a while ago. My current motor has been running strong for 3 years now but I want the torque from the stroker and the gear ratio from the DT200. Anyone sure about the Wosner piston working in the Vitos jug?

Vito's only makes the 72mm in a cast piston - wossner makes all the larger sizes 72.25 - 72.50 and so on. The wossner pistons are forged. The only forged piston vito's makes is the "super stock" style piston which is made for them by wiseco.

If you need someone to do your top end, I have no problems being the guy. PM me for any questions you may have. Id be happy to lend a helping hand.

Just noticed something neat on the wossner site. If a person had a LA sleeve (IIRC) put in, you could run that engine practically forever. The LA starts at 66mm and can be bored all the way to 72+, Wossner has pistons in the "inbetween" ranges. Actually 66-73 in .5mm increments

Wossner lists these pistons but does NOT have them anymore. You can custom order at a minimum of 4 and a cost of $800. So I guess I'm going to have to do forged. Anybody got a deal on a forged 72.5?

Dude I posted a link before. Give them a call.. There were a few on E bay but there gone now.

Hey Jon sorry I was going to get hold of you for the stroker kit since I picked up my DT200 engine last weekend. But I saw your post saying you are using it on one of your quads. And after thinking about shipping 2 bottom ends there and back and everything else I went and talk to some local shops and found a local builder (Frank Jahner).

Nice, I dont get hurt or upset by any means when you can get in touch with a local builder. Local is easy and face to face so there can be good relationships formed there. In the future if there is anything I can do let me know, im happy to help
