anyone elses fmf fatty pipe leaking

I have an fmf pipe and up around the flange where where it slips on is leaking rtv silicone doesnt work welland i dont have a welder any more any ideas what to do

get the good copper high temp silicone and CLEAN it to the point where you can eat off of it.

clean it with brake cleaner, and let it dry, clean the flange also, put abead of copper rtv on it and slip it together and let it sit over night, no more leaks

KInda funny to think it would leak there , the pipe is designed to scavenge exhuast , I would think the exhaust backpressure would be minute there , maybe Its leaking at lower rpms ? but at mid range and wot its poop shootin out the silencer like a sob

my blaster has been down for a while but mine has never leaked except where it goes to the engine

Mine leaked like crazy when I got it. Just put a bead of high temp copper rtv and no more leaks.
