I seen one person with an engine with no paint just sand blasted and it looked cool but I can't find it. Any body have pics of an engine with a gray color. I tried painting my engine it came out good but when I tried to put clear on in it got messed up..If I get in sand blasted again I'm thinking of just clearing it. i think all the big bore kits come unpainted. its aluminum so it wont rust or anything. what kind of clear were you using? was the color dried all the way 1st?
It is all 500 degree engine paint.... I did it in my basement so is a like cooler but I had a heater on....I had it good two coats black no clear but then I watch a video of them porting and polishing so I did a light port and polishing . Then scuff it up did another coat of black waited two days put a light coat of clear and then it stated I guess pulling up the black .....
