I almost thought about taking 2 springs and cut one off a little and the other a little bit and try and make dual rate shocks, would this make it any better?

Are you talking stock Blaster shocks? If so, there isn't much of a way to make them better. I think you would be better off just buying some Banshee shocks. They can be had for around $50. What springs are you planning to cut up, what is the compression rate of them?

No. short and sweet answer. Buy banshee, warrior, or raptor350 shocks. And for the back, a 400ex or ltz400 shock. All you need is a ken oconnor bushing

Stock shocks can be improved by removing them, tying about a yard of stout string to one end.

What one does then is to swing them wildly in a circle around your head.

When you get them spinning as fast as possible, release the hold on the string.

The shocks should fly away quite a long way, do not attemt to recover them.

In a nutshell, you are stuck with an unimprovable stock shock.

Tie a quarter to them first so when someone finds them they find something.

the rear is a cheap easy fix,the front not so.I still run a stock rear shock and am happy with the BOUNCE or lack of really.witht the swingarm i built and designed and adjustable mount i am happy with it.
But for the fronts,a new different angle and better shocks are the only way i believe.
