sawzall!!! silencer layin on a block of wood and holding it in place with my foot!!!

its dead nuts straight!!

Nice looks like its just about the same length as mine except mines a lil shorter lol

fed i used a sawzall on mine too lol except i C clamped it to a bench

If you wouldn't have said anything about shortening it, I never would have noticed. Looks like a factory silencer.

yeah.. no c clamp and no bench here.... im low buck.. i work with what i got....

funny part is when i drilled the new holes for the end cap, i stuck it in and guessed where the holes in the cap were.. dead on every time i drilled..

im go fast before look good lol.. im married i dont have to impress the ladys with looks lol

exactly 2 inches cut off... damn good cut for using a sawzall with no clamps

nothing wrong with looking good while going fast lol........idk ive never done it yet lol

thanks man... the packing that was in it.. well what was left.. was shot.. looked like rope in twisted, and i just threw out the good section of packing i had from unpacking the banshee silencers.. so i used steel wool... 2 pads un rolled and wrapped around the core

lookin good fed
why do the lrd silencers stick out soooo far??? i shortened mine also with the sawzall method, but left it stick out just enuf to get at the screws without taking it off, heres a before pic, and seems i'll have to get an after, even though it was done last summer...

I like the deeper sound! and it looks good too!
What exactly does the packing do, Is it just sound or is it performance? I have a piece of 2 1/2" stainless tube and some 1" I was thinking of making a silencer.

they say afully packed silencer will make more power because the exhaust can pass threw faster... i run less packing for personal preferance on sound levels... i played withvthe amount of packing in it before i set on the2 pads..

im runing ak&n with no lid and the intake is extremely loud... if you listin to my vids you can hear a deep growl .. thats the air being sucked in.. and i was playin with the amount trying to even out the sound so the intake wasnt over powering the exhaust note

awk.. your silencer actually looks like it sits back further not just sitkcing out but the whole body looks to be back more than mine
