two years ago I bought an airsal 240 big bore for my blaster. now just from wear and tear the piston is all chipped up and now i dont have enough compression to run. so i thought ok just rebuild it. well airsal doesnt make a rebuild kit. what company makes one that will fit proper. my problem is idk if 240 bore is .08 .04 over or what it is so idk what to buy. help would be appreciated. thanks.I:I

I believe airsal cylinders can over bored to use vito's or wossner big bore pistons but the only way to make absolutely sure what you have is to pull it apart and measure it. I've heard "stock" bore size on the airsals is 71mm so see what it is compared to that.

Not totally positive, but ive heard these kits are nikasil plated bores. This means no boring for you... Only options are to replate if needed for get a sleeve installed.

all i need is a piston and gaskets jug looks perfect. dont know why but piston just decided to chip and looks like chips went out exhaust and did no harm

You're right uncagedshadow, they are plated and that does mean no overbore. Good catch!

Pistons "crack" or "flake" because of a lean condition. You need to reassemble the engine and do a leakdown test on it. My bet is you have a stator side seal blown (big enough to cause piston damage but not on the right side to burn transmission fluid and tip you off to it).
