Air screw adj??

well i got so new jets 4 myself -240/250/260 mains, i got a uin air filter , the air box lid is full of 1/4 in holes so it pretty open to air ,the rest is stock, so i put a 250 main jet in it , runs good ,starts good , idles good too , but plug look a little rich , i was wourdering if i could adj the air screw to lean it just a little ???? it at 1-1/2 turns out , thats stock.

pull the airbox lid off or go down to the 240 main

what he said, the air screw will only help it to 1/4 throttle anyway

air screw controls air fuel mix for the pilot jet which always flows fuel.....pilot is most effective from idle to 1/2 throttle
