air box mods/ looks and functional..

So i had this bright idea to get a iron cross sticker, put it on the back of my air box, trace it, cut it out, put some mesh on the inside, and mount my tail light behind it maybe???? ideas.. thoughts on that??? i have yet to see anyone do something like that and i think it would be sweet!!

ORRR do one on the back of the air box, for alil added air flow.. and one on the 'battery/ storage' spot with the tail light behind that one

Doesn't sound like a bad idea. If you want more flow, take off your airbox lid ( If you haven't yet )

it is off... i dont even know what a stock blaster air box lid looks like.. nether of the blasters in my driveway came with them.. i figure the iron cross thing would be a good way to add some style and more flow, and a lil more sound to my machine

and the one with the light behind it would add more class and style and clean up the look by having the tail light behind it instead of hanging off the grab bar

u might not want an open hole in your airbox tho, we put plexiglass on our airboxes after we cut the hole in them

well. i dont swapm ride or in water.. soooo.. i for the air box part i could put the mesh over it for looks than some foam, like the air filter for a air conditioner.

You could also use a good ol panty hoe as a filter type material on the back side of your box after the cross is cut out. Its sounds ghetto but it works just as good as a prefilter and they are cheap in replacable easily. Just a thought...

thats what i did i just cut out some squars and then put a pair of panty hoes over it works great

that would be sicc i think i wanted to do that with my airbox cuz im not runnin one anyways. would be cool so i dont rip my taillight off doin wheelies standing on my grab bar.
