i plan on doing this as mine didnt have lights when i bought it big plus there cheap and from the sound of it better than stock

Just did this same thing to mine. Simple and easy for around $35. The only problem is the both come on no matter what setting you have the button on. For some reason I couldn't figure out how to make one come on by itself in lo and both come on on high. Either case they still work/look pretty cool.

Thats what I did but I mounted them in a different spot. And I had low be only 1 light and high was both. Works good. I also put a rivet through the lens cover because after 1 ride it popped off and got ran over.

This is almost exactly what i was looking for, I love these lights. The only problem is I cant find a way to mount them on the handle bars.

run 2 wires from the pos on one light one wire to high beam wire one to low beam wire...take the second light and run the pos to the high beam wire....ground them both....this will give you the one light on low and both on high....I:I
