how fast is a blaster with stock gearing??? and also will i need to re-jet my carb for my soon to come 240 kit???

just think that over for a second. your adding about 35cc's and you dont know its going to need more fuel-air?

id suggest a bigger carb to feed the 240 kit and if you have a stock pipe GET RID OF THAT sh*t and get a dyno port or a vitos fat bastard. both nice 240 pipes.

Or you can go to the stealership and tell them what jets you want. They're about 2.50 each....or, maybe likt 2.68 each....less than 3 dollars each.

If your getting the vito's kit it comes with a jet kit for the stock carb. It includes different needles and main jets. Like 89custom said though, you should really look into a bigger carb for the 240 kit.
You want to know how fast it'll go with the 240 kit. Go out into the road right now and see how fast it goes then add maybe 2-4 mph more. Thats how fast your 240 blaster will go. If you wanna go faster then you'll need to regear your quad. Just because you add more cc's doesn't mean your going to add more speed. It'll just get there quicker, thats all.

you'll lose a little top end but you'll gain accel

With the same gears and rear tires it will be barely faster then your previous set up.
jes like my Blaster- 400cc's with stock gears and stock size rear tires will be barely faster then stock BUT ALOT QUICKER

you will have to jet any carb that you buy. the one your looking at will be close, but you'll still have to fine tune it
