im looking at replacing rear brakes on 99 blaster. it has 03+ brakes on it right now, but caliper is frozen. (also last owner chopped up frame and rear bearing carrier to install them. which would be better between these two or should i be looking at something else. i like these cause they mount to foot peg and i can repair hack job on frame.
right now i like this best

- These kits aren't worth the money.-

then what would u use then. i need something cause i m running with out rear brakes. and i dont want chopped up looking machine just to have some.

I have the gts kit. Its pretty good once mounted and bled properly. But you will need to grind down the rear brake cable bracket on the frame near the foot peg. and you will also need longer bolts for the foot peg and mounting the rear caliper..It is no where close to being a direct bolt on mod..so unless you have the skills to modify your frame to properly mount the Mastercylinder bracket..do not buy this kit..If you can do this..The go for it..If i could do it again I would have went with a Banshee rear axle, axle carrier and hydro rear brake set up..

I'm not trying to get a sale here but we sell a complete bolt on kit that is the best I've seen. That's why we sell it. These internet kits come thru here are really more trouble than what their worth. The pads aren't as easy to come by if you're needing a set quickly. I've also see the hoses get ripped off quite easily.

I've actually taken a warrior axle housing and cut the brake stay off and mounted it to a blaster carrier to have the hydro set up.

If you have any mechanical ability, put it to good use and come up with a yamaha set up. Weld a bracket to the frame that the master cylinder will bolt too. Modify the brake pedal to bolt to the m/c. It can be done and you'll have taken the time to do it correctly. I think that you'll thank yourself in the end.

What's your website? If you don't have a website, please post a comparable price so we can see if they are really worth the money.
