89 Blasters Top End rebuild.

ok so after living with my crappy engine with a bunch of probs and a bunch of nagging from other memebers i finnaly decided to do a TOP END REBUILD not a complete rebuild. this rebuild will not start untill next summer becuase i have no money untill then. but just thought i would start this to see what you guys thought about the ideas i had about rebuilding my top end the main things i want to do is:
get a redisgned head by Ken Oconnor Racing
port and polish
new piston and rings
new transmission. {my 4th gear went out and it likes to jump out of 1st gear evey once awhile}
and if needed get my cylinder bored out.
thats the main things i want to do right now. but rememeber i wil not start the rebuild untill next summer IF i have enough money. if i dont have the money i will more than likely just sell it. tell me what you all think. thanks

yea selling the chinese would more than pay for it dudeeven if you got 800 for it. the top side mode are gonna cost you at least 400 bucks from ken.

yah i cant do that. its my bors quad not mine. and polaris isnt mine its my dads. @zwiser i adjusted my thottle cable. i am taking it over to my friends house who rebuilds them all the time. he is going to look at it. and the port and polish will not happen. did reasearch and is way to much. not intrested in selling anything right now but my blaster maybe

i found out my cylinder is already ported!!! WOOT!!! and i just recieved vitos carbon flex reeds. piston should be oredered next week and i would like to eventually shave my head
