89 blaster runnin werid

i have a 89 blaster and i can get it to start up and run but sometimes it will not idle and sometimes it will and it runs good i can ride it all over the place but when i stop and pull in the clutch the rpm jump way up and i have to shut it off (afraid of blowin engine) does anyone know what it could be i have cleaned the carb cheched the tors brand new throttle cable put in right just not sure what it is thanks

dont mean nothing!! need to change jetting for cold temps.. what mods do you have??? pipe? filter? no lid??

and that tells us nothing that comes with a bunch of random jets and i think a pilot mabey a needle to not realy sure

it has full fmf sunstar sprockets bored .30 rko o ring chain but i am not sure if it is jetted for cold temps just got it and when i took the carb off the clean it the slider was a black like it was burt but it slides perfect

you need to change the jetting for cold.. easyest way is change the main jet and turn in the air fuel screw.. iv never had to change the pilot on a blaster for winter.. just up the main 2-3 sizes over whats in it..

my 89 ran a 300 in cold weather and 280 in warm weather for the main
