Ok so this is it... bought a blaster and haves a 67.57 mm bore on it... and a 3mm spacer on the top end... didnt come with a piston and wouldnt know what could have happened to it. Everything on the bottom is fine i rebuild it alll myself thnks to you guys... now i ordered a wiseco piston for a blaster to fit a 68mm bore. My first question is how can i measure the connecting rod to determine if it needs the 3mm spacer. And finally how may i know if my cylinder head may be bored 68mm... what would the big bore limit be? Are there different big bores? Does it matter wich big bore i have? Will my blaster stand this mods...? Pliz point me in the right direction...

Well if you ordered a 68mm piston u need a shop to bore you to the piston with piston in hand and theirs a few other things they need to do with it. Boreing over IS NOT a bbk. BBKs are 240cc 72+mm bores and 2 available to buy are vitos240 and ct240. As far as length of rod not sure but many knowagable ppl can add on and help you with accurate details. You can always ship out to ken occonor racing and he can bore, and check rod, could get a port and polish and or head milled while ur at it, thats the best mod while someone has ur engine

Boring over is like licking a lolly pop, theirs only so many licks before its gone. We only bore over when needed and dont jump sizes, once that materials bored away it doesnt grow back.
