These bushings allow you to take the 400EX rear shock and mount it to your Blaster. Simply remove the old shock, drill the bottom mounting hole of the 400EX shock to 10 mm, install the bushings ( takes about 3 seconds ) and bolt it all together. Bushings are made of 1018 carbon steel and can even be welded into the frame if you want. The price for members of the Blaster Forum is $18 shipped to the lower 48. Call me if you need international shipping. There's been quite a bit of referrals and interest in this product so I posted it here to save some members time. I have a video on you tube that shows how the shock works, why it's better than stock and how to install it. Just search “400EX shock on a Blaster” to see the video. If your interested in purchasing a set, shoot $18 to my pay pal @ jessie7350@yahoo.com or you can email me @ kenoconnor07@aol.com. got mine 2 weeks ago, already have my 450r shock on but can see these would have made the install much easier, gettin ready for a slight tear down and will use these to remount, nice job ken, worth every penny, good informative video too!!!!

Ordering mine...I saw the video a few weeks ago. In addition to the bushings do we have to source a new upper bolt..? Your video mentions machining down the upper blaster bolt to 10mm I think?

just get one at the local hardware store, stainless steel preferably, his ebay ad for $25 a set was including one, but he cut us a deal on here, minus the bolt

This is really a good deal ! ! I had one made locally and was going to start making these myself but then I got busy and didnt have time !!

Looks like a great design !

Bump this up !

The youtube vid was great and very informational......

Is the 400ex shock that good of a mod? Also I take these bushing will work for other shocks?

as kens little note in each set of these bushings states, some of our mounts are a tight fit for these bushings, as mine are.
i used kens bushings on my black bike, but on the outside of the mounts for the trx250r shock, they are not as tight a fit as on my bike

i gave up my last set with the works rear shock i sold, and started installing my elka today
so heres what i came up with to help install these on any mounts that seem a little tight, and to keep from beating them in, possibly damaging them, which is almost impossible because of the close quaters between mounts, ya just can't get a straight shot at them

just a simple bolt/nut and washer on each side, tighten the bolt/nut and press the bushings right in !!!!...................

Tuuuuup. Just installed mine Monday. Very nice. Mine was a little snug but went in with a little taping with a screwdriver shaft. Used my 15/32 drill bit for the bottom. The drill bit worked great. Nice tight fit.
