400ex front shocks

I know this isn't the best idea, but I still have some works shocks w/ the pro millenium rebuild by SRS from my 400ex. I just installed some Diamond racing A-arms 2+1+, and was wondering if it is possible to mount them on the blaster till I get some elkas or tcs shocks? yfz450 shocks are 15.75", and 89custom has them on his Blaster. These are 16.25" I believe could be 16.75". Does that extra .50" make that big a difference in mounting? Just wondering if I should just hold off or utilize what I have. Just don't want to throw the suspension geometry all out of whack because I tend to hit some pretty large doubles/tables. Any help is much appreciated.

i think with the longer a-arms your 400 shocks are gonna be too short, when ya gettin the elka's and how much for the works???

no they wont be short...they should be just fine....i cant see anything going rong with them

If you have em'. Stick them in there I say. Test them, you may end ud up loving them...or not. Doesn't really cost U anything 8-|.
