:( 2004 blaster wont start

Okay I've been reading everything I can find on 03+ blasters, and still can't get this darn bike running! Thought it was electrical so I got rid of all the wires per http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/yamaha-blaster-wiring-20088/ but no avail. so here is the scoop I just cleaned the carb(twice). When i take the plug out and lay on head and kick over by hands it sparks the first couple times but not after that. i dont have a compression checker yet so i cant check that but this spark thing has me confused:-/ please advise of anything you think i can try. thanks mike

is it a new plug?? the plug needs to be grounded for a spark to appear, meaning the metal part of the plug should be touching the head.

Try a new plug.

What have you changed since the last time it ran?? Is there fresh gas?

plug is good, i put plug on the top of motor so the threads touch metal i see sparks like 1st 3x i press kick pedal down then nothing the next times i kick it, also i got it non running so i'm clueless on what else was done to it. also the slide on the carb is black like burnt???? here some pics b4 the rewire

did you try and tighten up the fly wheel on the stator?
