i had a bad miss or studdering and recked my brain trying to figure it out.i had a slap or a knock in the topend and i took it apart and found out that the previous owner doctored it up.they put the old piston that had half of it missing on the exhaust side and they were running the stock jetting on the fmf exhaust.they run it lean and broke the piston and they just put rings on it and put it back together so it would start.thanks for all the help.i am new to this site and i hope when i get the parts it runs good and i also ordered a 270 main jet that the pipe calls for .so hopefully it wont happen again

yea i would buy a few jets ( for winter, or summer etc) and bump up slowly im running a 230 main and a 35.5 pilot on mine and so far it runs wicked.. spark plug seems fine as well Ill check it again after another 30 min riding session

maybe you blew it up? because didnt it run fine when you bought it then it quit?
i would check the bottom end to see if there is a peice of the piston skirt in there

it was not running well when i traded for it and all i got in the blaster is 200 dollars after all the traden i done so i cant complain.i am going to put a 250 main jet in it and see what happens.parts should be here friday and we will see what happens

well before you replace the jets and start playing with it, make sure your top and bottom are good, have you checked comp? you probably have a piece of the piston skirt in the bottom.

my parts will be here friday and i ordered some jets to.i beleive the piston was broke when they put it in .they did not tell the truth about the overhaul there was none but i will check for peices in the bottom end the bearings are good and tight .hopefully it last for a while i run premix anyway i just dont trust auto mixers.thank for all the help

i put my parts my kit was a wsm complete kit are they any good and put a 240 main jet and it runs good now.the miss or spudder was caused by the rig up job the previous owner did so he could ride.thanks for all the help
