Hey guys, I’m new here. I’ve had this 2002 Blaster for about a year now and have been doing a rebuild on it. When I got the quad it was completely torn apart and like I’ve said I’ve spent the last whole year rebuilding this quad, every single piece is brand new.
With that being said, I got the build finished up and wired in (noticing the previous owner did the TORS delete) and on first start up to do my heat cycles i started it up, adjusted the idle so it would idle on its own but while trying to keep the bike alive with throttle it will not rev up, just kinda Boggs, it will also NOT die while bogging. I’m wondering if this could be something to do with the TORS not being deleted correctly? I’ve tried everything I could think of and cannot find a solution to this problem any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Ive had this issue before, for me it was the parking brake sensor, i just disconnected it and the issue went away. That was on a 03 model so I'm not sure where your parking brake sensor would be, just Google it and try disconnecting it, lmk how it goes.

I’m guessing the 02 and earlier models didn’t have a parking brake sensor because I can’t find one anywhere and there is nothing I’m finding on Google for it. I took my harness off and deleted the TORs out of the harness along with some other things and no change. I’m currently waiting on a new 230 Main jet to see if that fixes my issues. I’ve basically done everything but that. And the jet in the carb that I bought awhile back does not say what size it is so I’m assuming it is smaller than a 200. I will update when part comes in and I try it out!
