just bought a 2001 kx 60 yesterday evening for 100 bucks. bike looks awsome shape but it had been sitting outside in the rain. he told me that it just stopped working after he came back from a 2 week vacation. i took the carb intake manifold and reed cage off and noticed something kinda wet in the in the crankcase. kicked it over and relized it was water. turned it upside down and poored out about a cups worth lol. i ussed pb blaster and sprayed in to the intake to fill up the crank case some and just kept kicking over. turned it upside down again and emtied it while kicking it over and repeated this a couple more times until clean and then a couple more times with premix 32:1 gas. gave carb thorough cleaning and tried to clean the filter but was drie rotted and fell to pieces. the clutch was also adjusted so far tight that it wouldnt even try to budge when easing off the clutch. put it all back together and run like my bodies kx 125.
