Yes, when you screw the flywheel puller into the flywheel, it is left-hand thread. Make sure you screw the puller all the way in as much as it will go b/c they are very very bad about stripping out. When pulling it, I would use an impact b/c the jarring will help. (When the flywheels get stuck, they are a pain to remove.)
ALSO, make sure you use anti-seize on the crank b/f you put the flywheel back on!! (NON-NEGOTIONABLE!!)
