Bought a 2000 blaster a few weeks back and I've been waiting for an excuse to tear it down to see whats in it ever since it was able to beat my friends .60 over '06 blaster and finally melted it down last weekend, tore it apart a day later to see what needed to be replaced. Just a simple ring, piston and jug bore. What I'm really posting about is that my head looks like its had work done. My friend with the above blaster says his head is flat, mine however has arching striations... about 6 if i remember correctly, from the center arching out... is that rechambering or something else? I'll post a pic if I can find my camera
Extras done seem to be:
D&G pipe
1/2 reed spacer
open air box (i did that since it wouldn't idle and bogged in top end)
aftermarket crank (not sure what type or mm length)
head work
