Hello all. I have a 1996 or 1998 Yamaha Blaster. I was told that I could swap the plastic with (2008) Raptor 250 plastic, and it would bolt right on, or with very minor modding. My question is, Will the 2008 raptor 250 tank cover, and hood/mask bolt right on??? Also, can I keep my headlight from the 96 blaster? Or, would I have to purchase the 2008 Raptor headlight assembly? I just don't know. Any help would be appreciated. I would like to keep the light if possible, as I live in the back woods of SC. Long, dark, dirt roads I:I Thanks in advance.

I would like to help but I've not done this swap so I can't give you any advice.
Yet I appreciate you all the same my friend. Thanks. I'm just a dummy who ran across a good running Blaster and traded an IPOD touch for it! Running & all. I'll post pics later. Its runs like 60mph guys... Didn't realize the blaster was ever this fast...

Yes I'm pretty shure you can. But if some of it dosent match up get your power drill out and drill some holes out lineing up the plastic. And get a threaded tap and die set like $14 at harbor freight or andersons and you can cut the new threads out of the frame where you drilled at and it makes a perfect spot to put your bolt to hold your plastic up. Add rep if you find it useful....
