they dont "suck" they're still faster than blasters and are very light and nice quads. yeah the 87+ models are faster, but dont just write off the 85-86s

no, the crankcases are completely different.

the 85-86 use a partial crankcase ported cylinder. The 87+ are completely cylinder ported and totally different/non-compatible.
