How much do you have to change you chain length for 14/38 gearing. + or -

im not sure how this works.
couldnt really find an answer myself

Stock, I know if you go up one or two teeth you go up with your chain that much also, if you go down 1 tooth you use the stock size. So im going up one and also down two so that means im actually going down one which would mean I can use the chain I have now. If im correct. Just wanted to get a for sure answer.

It should work out fine. Just remember you can't remove just a single link from a chain.
