it will rev up as long as i push the throttle slow but if i try to rev it fast, it bogs down and dies. i've cleaned the carb 4 times and put new plug in....i'm lost!!!HELP...

any mods done to the bike pipe jetting ect.....did you take the jets out and clean then when you cleaned the carb?
do you have TORS disconnected? Unplug all the tors junk from the carb and the little brain thingy under the hood. See if that fixes it.
If it doesn't, what have you changed since last time it was running?? Are you doing this with the choke on or no?? Try doing it with the choke halfway out and tell us what happens.

just a pointer man if your gunna try to help someone read the post a few times to get a good idea what they are talking about..
im thinking its in the carb or maybe your reeds have gone bad
no mods, tried both with choke half, full, none and it still does the same. was riding and went through some water and it died...tried my buddy pulling me and it started after about 2 miles of me trying and it would only go from idle to wide open. when i went to check it the next day, thats when it started doing this:-/
what should the compresion be? reeds where the next thing i was going to look at, but was hoping that it was something easy...
compression should be 110+
reeds are easy to check....check for crack/breaks and hold them to some light and see if there is any gaps, they should be tightly closed

compression is good, from what i can tell. it's an old tester and it bleeds of pretty fast but will i kick it, it goes to around 110 to 115:-/
had a reed broke! fixed it and was to late to see if that was all it needed. started it, but didn't want to rev it up because of the neighbors...hope that was all it needed. thanks for the helpI:I
