02 yamaha blaster

thanks a lot buddy! could i take it off another flywheel and put it on?

you can, but it's tricky, remove the screws, then heat the flywheel from the outside until the magnet releases, i think they're stuck in there while the varnish is still wet, and glued to the flywheel itself, i can't remember if oconnor used anything to reglue it or not, i watched him do my flywheel when he lightened it.
lemme go see if his flywheel lightening vid shows it ??
BRB

indeed it does.............

make sure you have the woodruff key in the crank shaft slot and line it up with the flywheel slot for them

Revolve the crank so that the Woodruff key slot is uppermost, drop in the key with the outer end slightly deeper.

Position the flywheel so that the key slot is uppermost and place on crankshaft.

It may be nessessary to jiggle the flywheel so that locates the key.

Slip the flywheel onto the shaft, place on the washer, add the nut (with no thread lock) and tighten nut to 53 ft lbs.

so i did that and its still not working... when i turn the flywheel by my wrench for a couple turns i can kick it a couple times and i just put a brand new flywheel in so i know its not that... im starting to think maybe i should empty the gas tank and put gas and oil brand new mix in it and see what happens? what do u guys thinnk

Hard to understand what your talking about
Is your flywheel on? Have you got a spark ? What actually happens when you try to start it? Was the quad even running good if so what happened it that it stopped?

the flywheel is on and yes i do have good spark and when i do turn the flywheel so i can get the (kickstart peddle unstuck) and kick it.the blaster wont start. yesterday i took off my carb and cleaned it with carb cleaner im putting it back in tomorrow morning. i was thinking if i was running on lean oil then the kickstart maybe get stuck so id have to empty out my gas container and get 32:1 ratio and see what happens? what do u think about that idea.

what happend that it stopped was me riding with my fuel injector all the way out i guess causing flooding? when i cleaned my carb there was a lot of gas that fell out of the carb when i took the screw off a good amount i wanna say maybe 100ml

Not trying to be rude here, but you need to type clearly. Do you have a manual? The people on this forum try to diagnose problems over the Internet. You will get a lot better feedback if you can answer all these questions clearly in you next post.

What problems are you having?
What have you done already to solve the problems?
What modifications do you have to the motor/bike?
What jets are in the carb?

If you answer these questions you will get some good help. Nobody knows more about blasters than the people on this forum! Again, not trying to be rude. Just trying to help you out.

Would really like to see this " FUEL INJECTOR" :D

When cleaning a carb you have to take everything apart. Giving it a quick douche with a spray bomb doesn't work. There're tiny holes in pilot jet and emulsion tube, not to mention in carb body itsself.

Did you set float height? Is the float shutting fuel flow off when bowl is full? Don't know if 100ml is correct amount, but there should be fuel in there when you take bowl off.
