Okay so first off i'm new to the four wheel community lol I just bought a 2001 Blaster, didnt run due to someone putting the wrong fuel mixture in the tank instead of 91 octane. (I'm guessing thats why because I emptied the tank and the bowl and flushed with new gas, cleaned the plug, kicked it once and it started) Ran for about 30 40 seconds then died, I tried kicking it again and nothing. After 40 kicks and about 5 beers, I closed it up for the night.

The next day i tried to start it and she fired the first kick again, ran for 30 40 seconds and died. Wth. It has strong blue spark, gas flow seems okay however i'll check the screens on the cutoff switch tomaro, Wat else can it be? When i give it a good kick no hissing, seems like it has strong compression. Just a note, when it did start i had the choke on the second stage and while the engine was idling it seems to gradually idle faster, isn't the idle supposed to calm down? Any ideas? Tia

sounds like the carb needs cleaned, and sumthins hangin up the floats enuf that the bowl is slowly filling with gas over night, but runs out quick once started, you're gonna need to completely disassemble the carb and clean it with carb cleaner this time, not gas
and check them petcock screens
ps. octane dont mean sh*t on a stock bike, 91 is ok, but 93 is better
and might as well give them reeds a look while the carb is out

Alright, so i should pull off the carb, disassemble clean with carb cleaner and reassemble, i had a question about the overfill on the bottom of the carb bowl, the tube keeps dripping a steady drip a buddy of mine said that it can be the pin on the floats, how do i adjust that?
