i was wonderin g if anyone ever did a write up of a parts list or maybe the cheapest places to get the parts thanks.

I would get it all from rockymoutainatvmc.com Are you doing top, bottom or both? Also get the these tools, flywheel puller, and maybe a case splitter. If your doing a bottom and top end get a full gasket kit, hotrod crank kit, and a weisco piston kit. And if you want get a seal kit, i did it when i rebuilt mine. There about 13$, worth it 100%. Watch alot of videos, and ask alot of questions. Good luck!

I used a " tusk engine oil seal kit " recently from rocky. Also have ordered tires, skidplate and much more from them.
I wouldnt trust gasket kits from them. Unless they are "Cometic" brand. Only OEM type brand other than yamaha. You can order gaskets from www.kenoconnorracing.com

Also, what all do you plan to do? redo seals and bearings?

If you spilt the cases, USE YAMAHA BOND. I used some other bond i used on the oilpan on my jeep, and it got flakey and ate up in my tranny (horrible fluid leaks). ITS NOT WORTH NOT USING GOOD PARTS. The first time i ruiblt my quad i used used/ knock parts to save money, and now its sitting in the garage waiting for a oem part rebuild. You gotta pay to play.
