Does anyone besides Vitos still make a 240 kit?

If you got Facebook look up “Yamaha yfs200 blaster” join that group. May have to request more than once as almost everyone gets turned away first time. Once you’re in there, you’ll be able to find any and everything you need blaster wise within that group

    What's out there for pipes?

So the Vito’s bb does not come ported, it just comes with the extra ports. I would still send it out along with the entire engine to be ported and port matched. If you are looking for max power and wanna walk away from stock/piped 450s go with the 3mil Vito’s stroker and 240 bb, also Cut your...

I also think CT may still make theirs. Regardless of which you choose, get it ported and you will not regret it I promose

    Fully built 240 stroker opinion??

Well considering I’ve seen with my own eyes dyno papers of a 240 3mil with an aggressive port, proper air/fuel/and a quality right bend pipe put down 50+ to the wheel, I’d say it may be quite the opposite if the 250 is stock-ish

Project YSF250r is a go! A Baja built yz250 swapped blaster.

Not at all. Not in my experience at least. This is only my 2nd 2 stroke hybrid build so I’m sure there are others who know much more about it than me. I can only speak on what has and hasn’t worked for me. IMO, More points of contact = more bushings to dampen the vibes & added structural...

Project YSF250r is a go! A Baja built yz250 swapped blaster.

Don’t go rubber, doesn’t help. The biggest thing is make sure the engine is mounted at the head stay. Not having a head stay is where a ton of vibration comes from. Use machined aluminum bushings you will be glad you did. Also getting a good (but expensive) anti vibe stem and bar clamp really...

Finally got account confirmed. 2004 and other Blasters

Nice! In the midst of my yz250 blaster hybrid re-build. I’ve seen dyno papers with a blaster engine putting down 50+ to the wheels with multiple setups all 35-38mm carbs and with different expansion chambers. Gonna be tough sledding making that 85 touch that. Loving the build tho!

    What's out there for pipes?

If it were me I’d find “Tyler reeves” on fb that runs the group I mentioned earlier, and buy a Vito’s 240 BB from him with a wiseco piston. Then I’d send the top end out and at bare minimum get it ported. If you want to sacrifice reliability for power like me get your head cut and run race gas...

    What's out there for pipes?

If you’re not running a BB then the fat bastard is probably underwhelming as it was spec’d to be ran with a 240 kit

    What's out there for pipes?

If it were me, I’d look up “Yamaha yfs200 blaster” group on Facebook and join it. The only reliable, honest group I’ve found that keeps the scammers at bay. Toomey is basically dead people been waiting a year. I would look into a dynoport as it’s the only reasonably priced right bend still being...
