and how can you go about making sure your pipe/silencer connections are sealed and leak free? Leak tested engine already and good to go, but I have a interment small backfire.

My blaster would idle but stay revved up for a sec after I gave it some throttle. Had leaks all over, so I am guessing this is the culprit for me but I have not been able to work on my blaster since I installed the carb rebuild kit and leak tested my motor. Will report back as soon as I am able to.

Bought this kit also. Good to know that it has genuine mikuni jets and needle.

How might one leak test exhaust other than taking it through water and look for bubbles :) and intake components? I am leak testing engine now and fixing those leaks. The exhaust/intake components are my next task.

Yeah, I wonder if choke is richening it up and helping hide the air leaks...

Like Awk08 asked earlier, has it been leak down tested? Sounds like an air leak. My blaster is doing the same thing right now. Idles fine, and then as soon as I give it gas, just stays revved up for a little bit. Leak tested and found leaks all over the place.

Do you still have oil injection system installed? I have read on here that you can encounter problems with it after rolling the quad.
