    If the key is sheared to the flywheel... will my blaster still start? I am having problems with starting my blaster and i am guessing it my be from the sheared key. What causes the key to get sheared?

    OK, I just put a 260 main jet in and followed the tuning specs on this thread. If i back it out the 1 1/2 turns, I can not adjust the idle without it either high reving or almost stalling and sputtering.     No problem, thanks for the info. I try to use the search option for jet size and all that it searches for is size. I tried to look for other options for this but cant find any to do specific searches.

    While I am doing this, should I change the main jet 240? I dont want to take the air lid off since my kid is going to do most of the riding... it is too loud.

    Thanks for the info, now that i know i can adjust the idle I will do this tonight and see what happens.

    I did this before I messed with the carb... this is why i took it apart. Ran ok before i took the oil pump off. There was hardly any response... like a kids four wheeler, so i decided to remove the pump hoping it would make it better. It did but there is no idle adjustment.

    I sprayed starting fluid all over to make sure there was no leaks and no change in idle. I plugged it with a tight fitting rubber plug.

    No, all i did to it is put new stator cover and clutch cover gasket, cleaned the carb and put 240 main jet.

    32:1... it runs fine with the screw all the way in, but runs much better with the air lid off. 240 main jet.

    Yes, did everything as the forum suggested. I have dg pipe and everything else is stock.

    I just took off the oil pump, put it all back together and now it wont idle unless the air screw is turned in all the way. The minute I back it out it high revs and I have to turn it off. Also, I dont think my carb has an idle screw... i beleive there is a spot for one on the right side. I...
