i'm considering doin this swap too. i've got an '06 and am hoping that the stock hubs on both sides will work w/ the banshee axle. will post up results. anyone know the difference in width? i've already got wheel spacers (the good ones) and offset wheels and i don't really want to go too wide....

keep in mind that when you raise the cylinder, it'll affect your transfer timing. also, if you're running a mid/top end pipe, why not port the cylinder to match the pipe? mismatching porting w/ the pipe is a debilitating error. but great thread man. and def looking forward to the vids!

seems to me jbweld would melt off....not just due to the heat but also the oil. i'd say this depends on where the holes are....post up some pix. most likely welding would be ok, but if the holes are small enough, brazing would probably work just fine w/ an oxy-acetylene or MAYBE even propane...

damn, burnin oil, but it seems to me that if you do ALL those mods, you oughta get more than 18 ponies. kennedy built a 50 hp 240. that's about 33 hp increase. seems to me that if you're gonna spend all that dough on all those parts/labor, you might wanna consider researching a few more...

huh? why not just turn em off? you mean the lug nuts on your wheels right? you can use and impact gun, breaker bar, ratchet, neumatic ratchet........ as for the plug prob. if the plug was carbon or oil fouled, it most likely will happen again real soon. find the reason why this happened...
