what do you mean the clip on the needle ?

i just put my blaster back together with a new ignition coil air filter and i just cleaned out the carb needle and the rest of the carb i took it for a quick ride around the yard and now it dies when i give it to much throtle what could it be it is almost like the choke was on but it wasnt let...
