I need some help on adjusting the chain on my 88 blaster.and also how tight should the chain be.

does anyone know the plug gap and the float level measurements on a 88 blaster?think the float is way out probably why I'm not getting fuel to cylinder

I have been posting on here thismorning about my 88 blaster cant get fuel to the cylinder I have pulled my carb back off and checked float.dont have a caliber but someone told me it should be around 20 to 20.5 mm.I know this is dumb ?but what would that be (measurement wise ) on a tape.1/4 3/4...

k iwill check that out also.i dont have any calipers.but I did notice when I changed the needle and seat,when the carb was upside down the float was much lower then what it was when I put the new needle in.it brought the float up a bunch.do you know the settings for the float?

ya it was running before(great) put a new needle and seat in it then no spark.found out it was the tors box.now I have spark.but now it wont start,I'm going to go out and check plug and go from thereI guess

yes it has new plug pet weiner on,put a new needle and seat in it 2 days ago,carbs freshly cleaned and it's a 88.it's getting fuel to carb but how do I chec to see if it's getting to cylinder?

iposted on here alittle bit ago about not having any spark.I then disconnected the tors i know have spark but I cant get to fire.does the tors need to be hooked up in order to run.if not what else can I try? this is my first blaster and dont know anything about them.thanks

can anyone tell me if I unplug the tors unit,can I run the bike or is it going to damage something??

ya I found it,unplugged it and now I have spark and it fired right up...thanks guy's now the next ? can i start it up and ride it until I can get another? or is it going to damage or hurt the bike?

is it a silver box on front of bike on left side.with a blue wire?im going to go out and check.also if I unplug it will it start and run ok? or do I have to go get another tors unit

ya i have omed stater checked out all connections and nope dont have another boot.

what is the tores???this is my first blaster do not know what it is sorry
