update: the white/bluish smoke goes away after the engine warms up. on full open throttle, it doesnt smoke much, but in the high rpms it smokes alot. now going to order the oil seal, and seal it up.

its black and sooty. i think i just mixed too rich. but still curious about sprocket seal

actually just since i did the oil block off today did it start smoking white. well i cant tell if it is completely white or has a bluish tint. but still with my second question, is it easy to replace the sprocket seal? where can i get it? i have looked everywhere and cant find a "sprocket seal"

32:1 gas to oil. it never burned white like this before, so it makes me think i just mixed it too rich.

hey. today i did the oil block off mod, and put new 32:1 gas in there. now alot of white smoke comes out of the exhaust. why? also, there is a small oil leak from where the engine sprocket is. is there a seal that could be bad? and if so, is it easy to replace?

i dont see myself riding through water. if so, probably not more than a foot deep at most.

i have just another quick question, that i dont want to start another thread for. when it was idling i put my hand over the snorkel for about a second and the engine died almost immediately. this suggests to me that the engine may be gasping for air. maybe i have adjusted it too rich? well for...

nope after blipping the throttle, the rpms fall immediately back down to where i set the idle to be at. thanks guys, i was thinking this going to be a problem i couldnt fix on my own.

so i have it close to where i want it, but the air screw in the carb is about a full turn out. is that too rich? as far as jetting goes, i have no idea if it is stock or someone threw some different jets in there. i just bought the bike 2 weeks ago and just now had time to mess with it

alright here is an update. i have managed to get the idle where i want it, but sometimes the idle hangs high when im revving it. any suggestions?

yep i have turned it all the way in and taken it completely out and no change. just curious, there is a small black tube running from the right side of the carb (kick starter side) into the tranny (clutch side). whats that for?

is this up by the inlet of the carb? i have taken it completely out and it hasnt changed anything
