    Let's see your playground!

Now that is a playground! Thank you for sharing! Do you have to load up the Blaster to get there or can you just drive the quad?

Just like the title says, "Let's see your playground ". My playground is in Northeast Colorado in the dried up river beds and the ranchers fields. My Playground by Lyndle posted Jul 1, 2016 at 7:34 AM

    Howdy from Illinois

Welcome! I lived in Illinois up until a year ago. I got a job offer in Colorado and moved out of that over priced, broke a$$ state lol. I grew up in the Wheaton/ Naperville area.

We were back at it again yesterday! We tore up the country roads for a couple hours. The wifey ended up with a hell of a sunburn lol.

Wiseco piston kit has been ordered, .20 over stock. Renthal chain and sprocket kit are coming too. Boots and roost protectors are coming for both of us. Her wheel bearings have been ordered plus new handlebar grips for both Blasters. Things are coming together over here. I'll be starting a tear...

Yamaha Blaster Top end rebuild (DIY)

Have you found the piece of the piston? If it's floating around in the ports or the crank case you could have much larger problems.

    Greetings All

Welcome to an awesome wealth of information! I'm watching my bank account go down and I've only owned my Blasters for 3 weeks lol. Got to do a top end rebuild on my quad and a wheel bearing swap on my wife's Blasty.

So I'm pretty sure I have a slight knock or piston slap in my Blaster. My wife's runs much smoother than mine. The tick sounds like it's coming from the top end. Based on what I have learned from reading here I should invest in a leak down tester, and a compression tester. I should probably pull...

Another pic down by the lake. This Blaster has turned in to my daily driver lol. I drive it to work and back, to get the mail, cigarettes, pretty much whenever I can.

Took the Blasters down to the lake today. Had a nice lunch there with the Mrs. 13 miles round trip.

So I took your guys advice and tightened up the tension on my chain. It was an easy fix but clearly I need to get a chain and sprocket set. I only have 3/8 of an inch left of adjustment on the tensioners.
