i went threw the steps which lead me to the top end. took it off and found it was fried. ridges, black dust, etc

yes i kicked with the throttle wide open over and over again. and i think the top end wore down cause the crank seals are no good. thankfully he gave me a brand new pair :) so i have to take the flywheel off anyway. its all good. will keep you all posted bout the flywheel key

yeah i did know but its alright. i figured out all the bore sizes last year when we had a different blaster. brought my jug to Maine and the guy put a huge indent in my cylinder when trying to bore it. made me pay $150 for the rebuild that didnt work. so what 2 stroke oil do you recommend?

ok its confirmed the engine has 60 PSI of compression.haha that'd do it. putting in a brand new stock top end next week. ill keep you all posted. in the meantime how many of you recommend blocking off oil injection and premixing?

ok another update..... after pushing it while in gear for awhile it started giving a pressurized pop every so often. i went to kik it and every 5-10 kicks it would do a pressurized pop

reeds were thoroughly inspected and in great shape with no cracks or damage. yup im getting fuel to the carb, as whenever i pull the carb off it dumps gas out when i put it upside down haha

ok fixed the clutch. found out he DID put the top plate in incorrectly. clutch works great now, still no luck on starting it. i rolled it down a hill while in third and the plug was still dry when i pulled it out right after going down the hill. again, carb is spotless, reeds are in great shape...

yup thats what im goin for. maybe some carbon fiber v force reeds after the stock ones die. hey is it possible to change the crankshaft seals without splitting the crankcase?

the top end im not worried about. most ill have to drop into that is like $175 for a new wiseco top end. i need the clutch problem dealt with. my friend told me roll starting it works to start it with low compression but i cant try till i figure the clutch out

any ideas??? i know the guy couldn't have wrecked anything by taking it apart but what COULD he have done?

ok got the kickstart in correctly however it did not fix the clutch problem. still have no tension when you pull the handle. its as if the clutch is always being pulled as when you put it in gear it catches, but doesnt lock up when you roll it. oh and it was confirmed by the shop my top end need...

id love to have my frame painted yellow at some point. goes great against the blue! and thanks ill let you know how it turns out
