Im rebuilding the crank in my 02 Yamaha blaster and wanted to know what a good brand to go with was, i heard wiseco rods are garbage and wear way too fast is this true?

i dont have a case splitter.... mine came apart by hand.

Im trying to get my crank out to be rebuilt but i dont have the special tool... i know its not safe to do it without the proper tool but im only doing it once (hopefully) and i dont have money to buy the puller... can anybody tell me how they get theirs out?

Just wondering how many bolts there are holding a yamaha blaster crankcase together.... rebuilding the bottom end and i think someone already did it and they left a few out :o.

well this is the only time i would use the tool and im not gonna go buy the holder just so i can use it once

Im starting to prepare for splitting the cases on my yamaha blaster and im trying to get the flywheel bolt off at the moment, i dont have an impact wrench and i dont have a flywheel holder so my local mechanic told me to try wedging a piece of cloth between the 2 gears on the clutch basket side...

Used your idea for the axle bolt.... Lets just say a larger hammer can work wondera

but im sure the swingarm one will be just as bad8-|

i got it off.... just a little rusted on there and had to put a piece of pvc pipe around the wrench
