oh, and since I know it wasnt taken care of much, what kind of maintenance should I do to it before I take it out and beat on it a little?

I guess with all this support I'll keep it, but where is a good place to get some cheap used parts to replace the beat up stuff thats on it, like plastics handlebar, exhaust (it has none now) ???

I just got this blaster off of craigslist, I got it really cheap, but I didnt realize how ugly it was, it works great starts up easy but the plastics are nasty, no brakes, now well taken care of, I am leaning to getting rid of while it runs so good..... turns off like someone hit the kill switch.... I thought is was the TORS so I spliced the throttle cables together, unhooked the brake and carb cables but still no luck

I have a big problem with my blaster and I dont know what to do.... it has good compression, I just cleaned the carb, it starts easy and idles good, revs up smooth and great.... but when I go to ride it after a few minutes of riding it turns itself off... I dont know what is could be or where...

I know that there have been alot of people that have posted about idleling problems, but I cant figure out how to make my blaster idle, I have taken the carb out and cleaned it, but it will not idle for anything, I tried turning the idle screw under the seat, but it starts reving VERY high or...

what big store can I find a good oil? I dont know of any bike shops around? autozone etc.???

you were right the first time, I took out the chain and saw that the ring that holds in the oil was loose so I put it back in and went riding so see if it would stay, and it was perfect. What is the best oil to use back in there? something i can pick up somewhere easy?

I hope thats just it, I put the blaster standing up straight and I saw the oil gushing from right there where it spins the chain. I hope its cheat and easy to fix

Help, I just got into the blaster, and bought my first one and when i took it I noticed that it was leaking oil, I found that it is leaking right next to where it spins the chain. can someone please Help?

I just got into this sport and bought a 2000 blaster, everything works good but when I put oil into it and ride it for a little bit and then it is empty again, I found that it is leaking next to where it spins the chain. how do I fix it? thanks
