Yep thats it. The hose was still attached to the front of the quad. Just wanted to make sure it wasnt some kinda oil port that lubed the main bearings or something. Thanks for your replies!

It says connnector, suction on the parts diagram. The nipple sits directly on top of the crank case, near the back end of the cylinder. What is it for? Crankcase vent? or does it have something do with the oil injection? I bought the thing for 200 bucks in pieces and am in the process...
