I have checked everything that has been suggested and a few other things and I think we have come to the conclusion that the stator is bad, we have spark only at times and it is a weak spark at that, flywheel is in good shape, but the coils on the stator look like they could be in better shape...

I have a 2004 blaster, just replaced the motor, carb, and cdi box. Motor came off of a running bike. When I try to kick start it the bike acts like it wants to fire but will not run and I am out of ideas. It is getting spark at the plug and plenty of gas any other ideas would be gladly looked into.
